Andree' & Mike McDonald

Growing up and living in New Orleans, the Gulf Coast of Florida has always been our little slice of paradise. In 2008, my husband, Mike, and son, Darren, hatched a plan to dive into the vacation rental market. I must confess, I thought they were a bit crazy—we had no experience in this business, only as guests with both wonderful and not-so-wonderful stays.

But after many conversations and lots of research, we decided to take the plunge. With the whole family in tow, including the grandchildren, we embarked on many trips to find our dream vacation home. In 2008, we found our gem at the Majestic Sun. The three of us rolled up our sleeves and got to work. There were countless hours of painting, pulling up carpets, building cabinets, and numerous trips to the local hardware stores. By the end of it, we had created the perfect beach home for our family—and yours.

Fast forward 16+ years, and our little adventure has grown. We’ve added more properties, each lovingly renovated to meet the high standards our guests expect. Throughout these years, we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming hundreds of families, building a reputation for “value and attentive personal service.”

In 2018, we took a leap into property management. Our goal was to  grow our little while staying hands-on, ensuring we never compromise the quality of service our guests and owners have come to know and love. We’re selective, managing only the finest properties on 30A in Blue Mountain Beach and Miramar Beach, Florida. Each property is hand-picked to ensure it meets our high standards.

Owning and managing these vacation rentals has been incredibly rewarding. The best part? The wonderful families we meet. Many start as guests but soon become friends. It’s heartwarming to see families return year after year, and to hear they’ve recommended us to their loved ones.

We pride ourselves on our personal touch. When you stay with us, we want you to feel like part of our extended family. My personal goal is to treat every guest as I would like to be treated. We believe a vacation rental should feel like a home away from home, not just another hotel room. We hope you feel confident and excited about your stay with us.
